How do I get rid of unwanted computer equipment?
In an effort to assure that we make use of all available resources, Information Technology refurbishes computer equipment and reinstalls it where needed on campus. If you have unwanted computer equipment, here are the steps to follow.
1. Call or email Paula Ruiz (X 3592 or ruiz@loyno.edu ). She will look at the equipment and decide whether it can be reused on campus. If it can, someone from Information Technololgy will pick up the equipment so that it can be refurbished and put back to use on campus.
2. If it is determined that the equipment is too old to be of any use on campus, then the Puchasing Department needs to be notified. Go to the online request form for Disposal of Surplus Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment to let them know you have equipment to dispose of.
