Information Technology is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Computer Associates (CA) to provide a free one-year subscription of the eTrust EZ Antivirus program for personal use. Computer Associates' eTrust software has been trusted to protect our computers here at Loyola and now the industrial - strength protection is available to you for your home use as well. This offer applies to Loyola’s current faculty and staff. You can find the download and installation instructions that CA has provided below. Please note: do not install this on any Loyola owned computer. This is for your personal computers only. An installation note - If you already have another anti virus product loaded you must remove it or disable its resident protection (background checking) before the installation. Installation Tip - Download the product by following the instructions below. Disconnect from the network. Uninstall your current antivirus program. Install the EZ Antivirus program. Reconnect the network and update virus definitions. Should you require technical assistance with EZ Antivirus or have any questions, you should access Computer Associates support site at: http://www.my-eTrust.com/services.

Once you have clicked on the above link. Your internet browser will open. The screen that will appear is the Computer Associates shopping cart with eTrust™ EZ Antivirus 2005 in it.
In the upper right corner there is a "Coupon Code" text box.
Please enter the coupon "ug195aug19" that is provided to you.
Then, click the "SUBMIT" button next to "COUPON CODE" text box.
After you click "SUBMIT" your total will change to "FREE"
Then, click "CHECKOUT" button.
Enter your shipping information.
Then, enter a valid e-mail address, and create a password.
Next, Click on the "SUBMIT" button.
The Thank You screen will appear.
Please read the "DOWNLOADING NEW SOFTWARE INSTRUCTIONS".
After you read the instructions. Write down the "LICENSE KEY".
Put it in a safe spot, you will need it to install your product.
Click the "DOWNLOAD" button.
Your file download dialog box will appear.
Click the "SAVE" button.
Then, select the location where you would like to save "EZ Antivirus".
Click "SAVE".
The download will begin after you click the save button.

CA Home Protection Program Installation Instructions
Restriction:
- This offer for FREE software applies only to company employees and non-transferable to friends or family members.
- This offer does not apply to the companys clients employees or subcontractors.
- The eTrust Antivirus product can only be used for employee-owned home computers that are used to access company networks/e-mail.
- This product must not be installed on company's employee's company-owned PC or laptop. Company owned PCs and laptops will be equipped with CA full function eTrust Antivirus product.
- This program is designed to allow company employees the use of eTrust EZ Antivirus product for 365 days from the initial date of download. When that period expires, if an employee is no longer employed by the company he or she will not have access to the no-cost CA Web link. However, they do have the option to continue use of the product by paying CA's normal use fee.
- Company employee must agree to CA's "Click Wrapped" license terms of use. The company employee will be asked to accept these terms during the initial product installation.
