Jacee Brown named director of Web Communications

This promotion reflects Jacee’s talent and dedication as an integral member of our outstanding Web Communications department. As Director, Jacee manages the Web Communications staff of five.

In addition to her continued contribution as a web graphic designer, Jacee is responsible for the creative and technical direction of all official university web-based materials produced by the Office of Marketing and Communications. This includes ensuring that the university web site meets the highest graphic and editorial standards and branding consistency throughout all web-based materials and official online marketing initiatives.


 

Jennifer Schlotbom named assistant director of Loyola’s Office of Marketing and Communications

loyola-university-new-orleans-jennifer-schlotbomLoyola University New Orleans is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Schlotbom to assistant director of the Office of Marketing and Communications. She joins the team with over eight years of marketing communication experience.

Schlotbom most recently was the marketing and recruiting coordinator for the Loyola Evening Division. Prior to her return to New Orleans in 2007, Schlotbom was the Marketing Communications Associate at OrthoClear, Inc., a dental start-up in San Francisco, where she contributed to the continuous improvement, effectiveness, and efficiency of individual marketing initiatives as well as the overall marketing mix. Before then, she worked in a production capacity at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.

In the newly-created position of assistant director, Schlotbom will work directly with Terrell Fisher, assistant vice president of marketing and communications, to develop annual marketing plans and long-term visioning for assigned university groups, including appropriate data, analyses, and timetables on key issues and projects to support overall university objectives. This position is responsible for researching, coordinating, and purchasing university media placements, and assisting with the development of strategies, advertising, and promotional programs to ensure the execution of stated programs.

Schlotbom is a native of California and a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans’ School of Mass Communication. In her spare time, Schlotbom enjoys lending a hand to local nonprofits, travel, and urban exploration. She is proud to call New Orleans home once again.

 

Loyola's assistant VP for marketing wins Ad Person of the Year

The Ad Club of New Orleans recently named Terrell Fisher, Loyola University New Orleans' assistant vice president for marketing, an Ad Person of the Year at the club's 2007-2008 ADDY Awards ceremony.

Fisher's recognition as the Marketing/Communications Director of the Year was based on nominations and testimonies from area advertising and marketing professionals. Fisher has more than 30 years experience in the marketing industry, most of it garnered in New Orleans. Under her leadership, the marketing, publication and promotion efforts for Loyola University have resulted in national recognition.

Loyola's office of Publications and Marketing Communications was also recognized for its work with five Silver ADDY Awards in the advertising creative excellence competition. Read more
