Policy
Loyola University New Orleans wishes to recognize those employees who have devoted substantial years of service to the University. All full-time employees are eligible to be recognized. Staff employees who have completed 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years will receive a service award. Faculty members who have completed 25 years will receive a service award.
Procedure
Service awards for staff will be presented once per year at the annual Staff Luncheon. Service awards for faculty will be presented once per year at the fall Convocation.
Employees who have had breaks in service or who have worked part-time will not have that time counted toward a service award. An employee must have completed the appropriate number of years of continuous full-time employment in order to receive that award.
