The invitation to apply, with the application and recommendation forms, will be mailed to qualified Loyola applicants in January of their senior year of high school, with an application deadline in late March. Acceptance into the Program is competitive, with selections made by the University Honors Advisory Board. Late applications will be accepted according to space available.
Applications to the University Honors Program will also be accepted from qualified transfer students who will be entering their sophomore year at Loyola. In addition, currently enrolled students at Loyola who achieve academic excellence in their freshman year may apply to enter the Honors Program, regardless of their high school record and SAT/ACT. For late entrants, some Honors credit may be given for work taken in their freshman year.
