Wolfpack Welcome
Wolfpack Welcome. In August, first-year students, transfer students, and their families come to Loyola for their orientation during Wolfpack Welcome. Wolfpack Welcome for students and parents begins on Wednesday, August 20. Parent orientation ends on Friday, August 22, while Wolfpack Welcome wraps up for students the evening of Sunday, August 24. During this required program, students will complete their academic advising, take placement tests, learn all about Loyola and meet the entire class of 2012. Students are required to attend all sessions during the day and planned events in the evening. The planned activities for students in the evenings are designed to help the Class of 2012 get acquainted and discover their niche at Loyola. Parents that attend Wolfpack Welcome can meet faculty and administrators, attend specifically designed sessions, and discover the tools and programs that will ensure their student’s success at Loyola. Wolfpack Welcome is not required for parents, but is strongly encouraged.
