TOPS Scholarships at Loyola
TOPS (Taylor Opportunity Program for Students) is a program of state scholarships for Louisiana residents whose high school achievement earns them a TOPS Scholarship. The three different award components of the TOPS Program are: TOPS Opportunity Award, TOPS Performance Award and the TOPS Honors Award. TOPS awards can be applied to the cost of attending Loyola. (NOTE: TOPS Tech Awards CAN NOT be used at Loyola).

Award Disbursement and Reporting
Loyola can not bill the state for TOPS funds until 14 days after classes begin. The state then sends one master check for all TOPS recipients. Loyola will then credit individual student's accounts. Loyola must send a mid-year report to the State Office of Financial Assistance on the academic progress of all TOPS recipients. All recipients are responsible for understanding the requirements for renewing their TOPS awards.
