Nursing Program Issues

MSN BLEND Program

This program is for RNs with non-nursing bachelor's degrees. It prepares the RN to enter one of Loyola's MSN programs without obtaining a BSN degree . During the first 6 hours(minimum ) of the program, students are enrolled in UNDERGRADUATE course work designed to prepare them for graduate nursing level study.

For the purposes of the Federal Stafford Loan Program, students taking undergraduate courses are considered to be "5th year undergraduates" and are bound by those annual loan limits.

Students must be enrolled on at least a half time basis ( 5 hours per semester for graduate students) AND taking courses applicable to their degree objectives in order to apply for federal student loan funds to help with the cost of their education.

Refer to Aid and Your Bill for more information on that topic.
