The Spring Frog Walk -- APRIL 22nd

Our annual major field trip of the Spring semester is the FROG WALK. Walk with Dr. Bob Thomas through Jean Lafitte National Park at night and hear thousands of frogs and toads calling out for their mates. Our local National Park is home to dozens of species and "Dr. Bob" is one of the foremost herpetologists of our area.

We meet at 7:00 pm between Buddig Hall and RecPlex (by the vans), depart soon thereafter and return to campus by 11:00 pm.

Dress comfortably (bring umbrellas if rainy) and to bring some sort of flashlight (and cameras if you wish).  Also, bug spray if you are bugged by bugs.

To reserve your spot and for more information ( what to bring and what to expect ) contact Dr. Robert A Thomas by e-mail -- rathomas@loyno.edu or by phone -- 865-2107
