New Orleans Film Society

The New Orleans Film Society (NOFS) was founded in 1989. 2016 marks the 27th anniversary of the New Orleans Film Festival, which has grown into a major showcase of local, regional, national, and international films. In 2015 NOFF hosted 375 filmmakers and screened 201 films.

In addition to the annual Film Festival each fall, the NOFS hosts the French Film Festival, individual and partner screenings, Moonlight Movies and other events designed to benefit local film audiences, artists, and professionals. The NOFS also partners with over 75 local organizations and reaches approximately 32,500+ people through its programming.
