New Orleans College Preparatory Academies

New Orleans College Prep's mission is to prepare students with academic and life skills for success in college, career, and beyond. NOCP is on a mission to ensure ALL of our children have an opportunity to succeed in college and beyond.

Service learners will have an opportunity to work with K-12 age students in 3 main areas: co-curricular activities, academic, school and EL support. Students directly assist teachers in co-curricular activities, in music ensembles, sports teams, and college access. Service learning students can support our weekly middle school or high school tutoring groups or work in school support as a recess/lunch leader, office support, or an intern.

Students serving at New Orleans College Prep can be part of a massive movement to improve educational outcomes for students, learn how co-curricular activities contribute to student success, and understand on the front lines what it takes to help a student get into and succeed at college. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in education reform or youth development.
