Boys Hope Girls Hope New Orleans is an academic-driven home for children in need. We provide our scholars year-round residential care, scholarships for college preparatory schools, college-educated live-in staff, and the opportunity to pursue their dream of college graduation and personal success.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of New Orleans is an academic-driven home for children in need. We provide our scholars year-round residential care, scholarships for college preparatory schools, college-educated live-in staff, and the opportunity to pursue their dream of college graduation and personal success.

WHAT YOU LEARN

Students can share a love of learning with our children and help them become life-long learners. Students will also discover their ability to impact a middle or high school student's future by serving as an education role model and mentor.

PRESERVICE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Attend an on-campus session on Thursday, September 7th, 4:00-5:00pm, in seminar room 1, Monroe Library, OR Friday, September 8th, 4:00-5:00pm, in seminar room 3, Monroe Library. Bring pen and paper.
  2. Students should be prepared for a brief interview and resume review.
  3. Students will be asked to attend an on-site orientation/training session.

Our addresses are not disclosed to protect the safety of our children. Addresses will be given to those service learning students selected to serve at BHGH.
