Service learning is required for this course.

Time commitment: 20 hours

Learning objective: Service learning will help students in this course appreciate the crucial role of community involvement in the accounting profession. It will also demonstrate the need for high-quality financial literacy assistance among youth and small business owners in our community. 

All students in this course will complete 20 hours of service with one of the agencies that partners with Holomua Life Learning or with Goodwork Network. 

Preapproved Agencies: The first five agencies below are Holomua Life Learning partners. You will be teaching financial literacy, professional development, and life skills courses designed by Holomua (See the link to their organization above). At Goodwork Network, you will provide assistance to small business owners related to financial literacy.
