Emergency E-mail
Information Technology has established an emergency email service which can be used in the event that our main email system is unavailable. All faculty and staff have an email account on this standby system. Your account name is the same as your regular Loyola email address and your password is your 4-digit birth year, two-digit birth month and two-digit birth day. This mail system can be accessed at http://loynodr.com/webmail
For example: If your Loyola email account is tjones and your birthday is February 12, 1979, then your emergency address is tjones@loynodr.com and your account name is tjones with a password of 19790212.
Emergency Website
Information Technology continues to maintain its full disaster recovery plan. This plan facilitates the recovery of all critical Information Technology systems within 72 hours of a disaster declaration.
As an interim step to foster communications until this full plan is activated, Information Technology has established an emergency web site which will be quickly activated should our main systems fail. This web site will provide critical information to our faculty, staff and students, until our main web site is restored.
