Our Mission
The Economics Club endeavors to stimulate interest in the theory and application of economics. We seek to establish a more thorough understanding of purposeful human action. Our commitment to true knowledge and critical thinking underlies such a task. We shall persist in our efforts to not only discover new truths, and point out when what were once truths are no longer, but to pose a standing invitation to all to prove such truths unfounded.
The Economics Club will promote interdisciplinary scholarship at Loyola. We welcome any student interested in economics, whether or not they are a major. In this way, the Club will promote an intellectual atmosphere of open discussion among disciplines.
