Psychiatric Services
General Information
Psychiatric services are available to eligible students currently enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans. Loyola’s consulting psychiatrist offers services by appointment only on bi-monthly Wednesday afternoons from 2:15-5:00pm at the University Counseling Center (UCC).
Services Available
Psychiatric evaluations and medication management services are available in conjunction with ongoing individual therapy provided by counseling staff. Treatment for ADHD with medication is only available after confirmation of a diagnosis with psychological testing.
To Schedule an Appointment
Call the UCC at 504-865-3835 and schedule an intake appointment with a counselor. The counselor will conduct an evaluation and will facilitate a referral to the consulting psychiatrist, if warranted.
