What is e-CHUG?
e-CHUG (electronic Check-Up to Go) is an interactive web survey designed to allow university students to provide information about their drinking patterns and receive feedback about their personal alcohol use and its consequences. The e-CHUG takes approximately 7 minutes to complete, is self-guided and is confidential.
How does e-CHUG work?
When you begin to take the e-CHUG you will be prompted to enter demographic information followed by information about your patterns of alcohol use and family history. You will then be asked to complete the World Health Organization AUDIT.
Once you finish taking the e-CHUG your responses will be processed and compared to responses from national and local university students. Then, you will receive personalized feedback in an easy-to-read format.
