The School of Mass Communication is the largest undergraduate major at Loyola University, with 350 undergraduate majors and 19 undergraduate minors enrolled in the various programs. The school is committed to educating highly competent media professionals who exemplify the finest qualities of a liberal arts education in the Jesuit tradition. Many students choose to attend Loyola because of the reputation of the School of Mass Communication. Nine full-time faculty members teach and direct the three sequences in which the department offers degrees:
