Applying for Graduation

The deadline to apply to participate in 2014 has passed.  Please contact the Office of Student Records at (504) 865-3237.

May, August and December candidates should apply during the previous Fall semester by the deadline in the calendar.

Applications are filed online at http://secure.loyno.edu/records/applicationfordegree/

Students who are degree candidates for Spring or Summer graduation are eligible to participate in the Spring commencement ceremony. Fall degree candidates are eligible to participate in the Spring ceremony prior to or after their graduation term.  Note - students enrolled in certificate programs are not eligible for participation.

After certification and with financial clearance and upon completion of the required Senior Exit Survey and the First Destination Survey (administered by our Career Development Center), your diploma will be mailed to you.  (The First Destination Survey does not apply to Law students.)

All eligible candidates for graduation will be automatically registered for participation in commencement ceremonies based upon their response on the application for degree. If your intentions have changed since you applied for graduation, you must notify Kathy Gros in the Office of Student Records at (504) 865-3237 or via e-mail at kgros@loyno.edu before April 11, 2014.

Law candidates who change their graduation intentions should notify Pam Galindo in Law Records at (504) 861-5744 or via email at pgalindo@loyno.edu
