One Loyola room, First floor next to the Bookstore

The premier installation in One Loyola is a piece that focuses on what we all share in common. Students speak about the Jesuit values and how they live those out.

Andrea Gomez (senior, Music Industry) edited footage of student leaders and first year students during Wolfpack Welcome as well as conducted on-the-street interviews with other students to produce this piece. Satchmo’s: Genesis Gospel Choir and the participants of the Black Student Union annual talent show night perform.

Senior Common Room: Faculty and staff are treated to the wonderful creations of a Sodexho Guest Chef.

Art Gallery Button Making: The American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA) student organization with faculty members Daniela Marx and Nancy Bernardo lead students in this always popular and fun event.

Peace Quad: Students can tye-dye their complementary Renovation Celebration Route 64 t-shirts in 1960’s style.

Art Gallery: Opening reception for AIGA printmaking installation

5:50 p.m. ~ Grand Unveiling

sign.

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. ~ Fountain Dedication

DSC Courtyard: The Student Government Association dedicates the new Courtyard fountain. SGA worked collaboratively with alumna Michelle Leblanc to create this one-of-a-kind fountain. The sculpture is by famed artist Joan Miro.

8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. ~ Stress Fest

Satchmo’s: The University Programming Board (UPB) and Health Education at Loyola (HEAL) join forces to provide healthy snacks and cartoons for a mid-term student break.
