Death Penalty

Discourse on the death penalty fostered insight and understanding of capital punishment in America. Denise LeBoeuf, is the director of Louisiana Indigent Defense Assistance Board Capital Post Conviction Project and spoke for a moratorium on the death penalty. Jeff Jacoby, spoke as an advocate for the death penalty, and is a renowned columnist for The Boston Globe, and the first recipient of the Breindel Prize for opinion journalism, participated in the debate on November 17, 2003.
