The Loyola Journal for Civil Discourse

The Loyola Journal of Civil Discourse is a bipartisan journal that publishes articles by professional speakers and student respondents that participate in forums and debates organized by the Loyola Society of Civic Engagement (LSCE), a student organization that ensures civil discourse from all perspectives on controversial issues.  Documentation in the Journal of Civil Discourse gives prospective students, alumni, parents, community members and academics insight to intellectual life on Loyola’s campus.

All of the speakers and respondents of LSCE events are invited to submit their views in writing to the Journal of Civil Discourse. What follows are the opinions of those who accepted our invitation. Your opinions on the views expressed here, delivered in the spirit of civility and tolerance, are welcomed.
