PUC – Rio, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro

PUC - Rio was the first private Catholic university in Brazil and is today internationally recognized as one of the top five Brazilian institutions. It is the most important doctoral research center in Brazil and its students are from highly diverse backgrounds. PUC - Rio has a picturesque campus located near the forest as well as the beach.

ECUADOR

Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, Quito

PUCE is the oldest and one of the most prestigious private universities in Ecuador. It is located in the capital of Quito which is surrounded by volcanoes and whose historic center is an important UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

  • Spanish language courses
  • An Introduction to the Andean Republics will be offered in English by the on-site coordinator
  • Courses are available in Spanish for students with adequate Spanish language proficiency in history, anthropology and sociology
