Semester Programs



Sogang University, Seoul

Sogang University is a Jesuit university in Seoul, Korea, offering over 30% of their courses in English. Sogang offers a few courses in English in design.

There are a few design courses offered in English and syllabi can be found in the course catalogue under Art and Technology. (Make sure you select 'Position' and the 'Undergraduate School' and 'Courses for exchange students'). Please note that newer browsers do not always work so if you do not get a list of courses, try another browser.

Australia/New Zealand


Australian Catholic University, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane

Founded in 1991 following the amalgamation of four Catholic tertiary institutions in eastern Australia, ACU is a member of the publicly-funded national system of Australian universities. International students choose courses from one of 4 campuses in 3 different cities.

New Zealand 

Massey University, Palmerston North

Founded in 1927, Massey University is a large public institution with students from more than 100 countries. It is one of the top universities in New Zealand. There are 3 campuses, but design  students would be based in Wellington.

Koç University, Istanbul

Koç University was founded in 1993 and has quickly become one of the leading universities in Turkey and a recipient of numerous international research awards. Koç ranks among the world's top 250 universities and offers all of its courses in English.

Graphic Design Courses are offered in the department of Media and Visual Arts. Course descriptions are available on the website. 

Latin America


USAL - Universidad del Salvador

The Universidad del Salvador (USAL) is a private university of Jesuit heritage and one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Argentina. With a total student body of around 30,000, the university receives about 500 international exchange students per year. With courses primarily taught in Spanish, Loyola students with adequate Spanish abilities can have an immersion experience studying alongside Argentinian students.


Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, Quito

Loyola in Ecuador is based at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE), a Jesuit University, located in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito. PUCE, founded in the mid-twentieth century by the Society of Jesus, is the oldest  and one of the most prestigious private educational institutions in Ecuador and is home to 14,000 students. Loyola in Ecuador will provide students with an exciting individualized program combining Spanish language instruction, courses on Ecuador and Latin America with a service learning component taught by the Resident Director, Dr. Ximena Sosa, academic courses in Spanish for those with adequate proficiency, fieldtrips to various locations including the Amazon and the Galapagos in alternating semesters.

Graphic design courses are offered in the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Arts.
