Fire or Security
Loyola University Police (24 hours) – Dial x3434 for ordinary assistance or information regarding security or a fire.
On-campus emergencies (Security or Fire) - Dial 911.
The blue light emergency telephones, located throughout both campuses and in the parking garages, connects the caller directly to the Loyola University Police office without the need to dial. When telephoning from off-campus, dial 865-3434.
If Student Health is closed, TEMS (Tulane Emergency Medical Service) provides emergency medical services and ambulance transport to local hospitals for students of Loyola University New Orleans. In a medical emergency, contact Loyola University Police Department at (504) 865-3434 and request TEMS. "Tulane Emergency Medical Service (TEMS), part of Tulane University Student Health Center, is a student-operated, basic emergency medical service, volunteer ambulance corps, certified nationally, in Louisiana, and by Orleans Parish. TEMS provides basic emergency services to Tulane and Loyola Students. TEMS is not a paramedic service; if more advanced assistance is needed care should be coordinated through the New Orleans Emergency Medical Service by dialing 911."
