The Bridge Breast Network
The Bridge Breast Network seeks an enthusiastic and compassionate case management assistant for an 8-week life changing experience. Must be eager to learn and have a desire to positively impact the lives of others.
OUR HISTORY
The Bridge was founded in 1992 by breast surgeon, Dr. Sally Knox. Over
the past 16 years, The Bridge has assisted more than 78,641 individuals’
with access to lifesaving breast health services.
OUR MISSION
Our mission to save lives by linking low-income, uninsured individuals
to diagnostic and treatment services for breast cancer remains unchanged.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Case Management team in the planning and coordination of client healthcare services
- Determine client eligibility for services
- Research community resources and develop a resource guide
- Maintain client and provider database
- Attend community events to promote breast health awareness
- Analyze client information and assist with the development of an effective outreach program

QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate college student who will be returning to college as a full time sophomore, junior or senior in fall 2008
- Field of study should be in the area of Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Healthcare, or any other social service field.
- Bilingual a plus
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
- Desire to empower individuals with knowledge and information about healthcare services
