CDC Information for Faculty and Staff

Our main purpose in the Career Development Center (CDC) is to empower students to identify and develop career decision-making and job search skills that help them establish purposeful, intentional, and authentic careers.

But we know we’re not alone!

We understand that faculty and staff are invested in the future of Loyola students as well - which is why the CDC believes that collaboration with faculty and staff across Loyola’s campus is absolutely essential when it comes to student aspirations.  We believe in the necessity of partnership. We endeavor to work with faculty and staff in each department in order to provide integrated services for our students.

After all, it’s important for everyone on campus to help students take their Loyola experience and translate that into opportunities for the future.

Through partnership, we can all help students find careers where they find themselves.

The Career Development Center at Loyola operates according to the standards and guidelines laid out in the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Conduct For Career Services and Employment Professionals. Please also refer to the NACE Faculty Guide to Ethical and Legal Standards in Student Hiring.
