Develop Your Presence on Campus

The Career Development Center wants to help you build and enhance your employer presence on Loyola’s campus.  Employers who have ongoing visibility often have more success with recruiting qualified students.

There are a number of strategies to help you increase your visibility at Loyola.  Feel free to contact us for further information about any of these options.

Present at a Career Workshop
The Career Development Center hosts workshops on a number of different career topics including resume writing, job search strategies, interviewing, how to work a career fair, and more.  Get your name out by leading one of these workshops.

Participate in a Career Panel
Give students an idea of what it is like to work in your career field through participation in one of our career panels.  These events focus on specific career-related topics in particular industries.

Give a Presentation to a Student Organization
Connect with one of the many student organizations on campus by giving a presentation about your career field, your workplace, and potential job opportunities.  We can help you reach out to the Loyola student organizations you want to target.

Participate in Mock Interviews
Help our students learn the art of the interview.  By participating in mock interviews with students, you can offer students advice on how to be successful in the interview setting and connect with students who may be interested in your organization.

Assist with Resume Reviews
As students craft resumes, they often like to receive help and advice from employers themselves.  By coming to campus to help with resume reviews, you not only get your name out to students but also provide them with a valuable service.

CDC Sponsorships
Raise awareness of your organization or company through sponsorship.  When you help support the initiatives of our office, the CDC agrees to highlight your organization with prime advertising space and to maximize opportunities for you to connect with students. Opportunities range from sponsoring a career event to supporting our technology efforts.

Advertise in the Maroon Student Newspaper
Our student newspaper, The Maroon, is a great way to reach large numbers of Loyola students.  It is widely read across campus and can easily spread the word about career opportunities with your organization or company.
