Loyola University New Orleans is a Catholic institution that emphasizes the Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person. It is open to students of all faiths. Geographically diverse, the student body has representatives from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and many foreign countries. In recent years, Loyola has consistently ranked among the top regional colleges and universities in the South and one of the top 60 in the United States by U.S. News & World Report’s special issue “America’s Best Colleges."
