Career Contact & Alumni Network

Get involved with the Career Contact & Alumni Network. Complete an on-line form to become a mentor for Loyola University New Orleans students and alumni or check the alumni database for a mentor.

We are currently looking to develop a group of alumni, employers, parents, students and friends, representing diverse career fields nationwide, who would like to share their career experiences with students and alumni. Often, the best, most inspiring advice comes from listening to the personal experiences of others. We hope that the members of this network can provide students and alumni realistic information about career options, employment conditions, and job responsibilities. In many cases, our network members may be the best suited to lend insight or advice regarding the city in which they live, and they may be able to refer students and alumni to other contacts in the industry. By signing up to be a network member, you will be contacted for information about your career, your organization, and your industry, not job interviews. You will also be able to limit the number of times you are contacted per month, and remove yourself from the list during busy times of the year. For more information

Career Development Series

Our career development services include individualized consultation, counseling, assessment and a 600 volume Career Resource Library. Career counselors are available to meet with you during our regular office hours. Limited services are available free of charge. Job Search Services

Loyola University alumni are welcome to utilize our job search assistance services. These services include job listings, job fairs, job search preparation materials, and PackTRAK (our on-campus recruiting and resume referral system). In addition, alumni are eligible to schedule an appoinment with a career counselor to discuss job search planning and strategy. To schedule an appointment, please call 504.865.3835.
