1718 is a reading series which takes place at the Columns Hotel on St.
Charles in New Orleans. It is a student-run program directed by
students from Loyola University of New Orleans, Tulane University, and
the University of New Orleans. Each 1718 reading event features one
established poet or writer, followed by several student writers from
the New Orleans area. Tonight's featured reader is Rikki Ducornet.
