DESCRIPTION: Hot Eight. Members of TremeÕs own Hot 8 brass band joke around with each other after a second line that paraded through the historic downtown neighborhood. The celebration was held in honor of late, Chez Helene restaurateur, Chef Austin Leslie. The Backstreet Cultural Museum, located in the old Blandin Funeral Home Building has taken a leading role in bringing back the culture that the area is famous for. The storm damaged copper roof of historic Saint Augustine Church is seen in the background.
