Fort Lewis, WA What is it? Each year, thousands of cadets from all over the nation travel to Ft. Lewis, Washington to attend ROTC Advanced Camp. This camp exists to enhance and evaluate cadet leadership potential. This is the culminating event in the ROTC training program. ROTC Advanced Camp training serves two purposes:
Train Cadets This is accomplished through a variety of training events, field exercises, and garrison living. Some of the training events are:
Physical Training (PT) The easiest way to ensure success at Camp is to show up in shape with a
positive attitude. Every cadet should design a personal training program designed to
achieve the following goals:
Refer to FM 21-20 when designing your PT program. By starting a dedicated program at the beginning of the school year and gradually increasing performance levels, you will have no problems at Camp. Grades The most important thing every cadet should concentrate on (from
freshman year to the end of senior year) is keeping a high academic grade point average
