Program of Study

Program Requirements

The Africana Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary program requiring twenty-one (21) credit hours (seven courses) drawn from a combination of disciplines-- History, English, Sociology, Music, and Political Science.

The Minor has a multicultural emphasis.  Courses addressing aspects of the African, African-American, Afro-Latin and Caribbean experiences and issues will be eligible for cross-listing and inclusion.
