Loyola Summer Program in Spain

The Loyola Spain Summer Program consists of 4 weeks in Ávila, a provincial capital located in central Spain.  Ávila, the home of 17th-century Spanish mystic saints Teresa de Jesús and Juan de la Cruz, is located about 1 hour northwest of Madrid, with easy access by train and bus.  Included in program fees are day trips to Segovia, Salamanca, and the Prado Museum in Madrid.  Study in a city where there are more locals than tourists and you can really practice your Spanish in the summer!

Program fee ($3800) includes:

  • 2 classes for 6 credits--all classes taught in Spanish, M-Th
  • 3 Friday excursions
    • Segovia
    • Prado Museum in Madrid
