The Shawn M. Donnelley Center for Nonprofit Communications is an excellent example of a program with a positive impact already being felt in the community. The students gain invaluable hands-on design, advertising, and public relations experience while providing a much-needed service to organizations that can not afford to hire professionals to promote their organization and its mission.
