Biology Core Course

Course Description:

This course introduces the fundamentals of cell and molecular biology emphasizing the experimental basis for current concepts and principles. Topics include DNA replication, transcription, translation, gene regulation, recombinant DNA technology, organelle structure and function, cell communication, the cytoskeleton, the cell cycle and the cellular aspects of immunity. Pre-requisite: BIOL A106, A108, A109, Co-requisite: BIOL A205/207.
